KIS Camps Refund Policy

At KIS Reignwood Park Camp, we prioritize the safety and well-being of our campers. As part of our commitment to providing a high-quality experience for all participants, we have established the following refund policy:

Cancellation, Refunds Policy

1. No-Shows and Cancellations

  • No refunds will be issued under any circumstances for participants who do not attend the camp. 
  • No refunds will be issued under any circumstances for cancellations once payment has been processed.

2. Refunds: Applicable Only for Medical Conditions

In the event of a cancellation during the camp period due to a confirmed case of any of the illnesses listed below, a 15% refund will be issued, subject to a 2,000 Thai Baht administrative fee. Refunds will be processed only upon receipt of the following documentation:

  • COVID-19: RT-PCR test report issued by a recognized hospital. 
  • Influenza: Doctor’s note confirming the diagnosis. 
  • Body Injury Requiring Surgery: Medical report indicating the necessity for surgical intervention.

Important Notice:

  • Self-testing kits, photographs of test results, or home diagnoses will not be accepted. 
  • A hospital-issued medical record indicating isolation or admission is required for all medical conditions. 
  • The school reserves the right to verify the authenticity of the medical documentation. 
  • If the documentation is found to contain false or misleading information, the refund will be forfeited.

Verified Illnesses Eligible for a 15% Refund:

  • Chickenpox (Varicella)
  • Gastrointestinal (GI) Infections
  • Hand, Foot, and Mouth Disease (HFMD)
  • Herpangina
  • Hepatitis A, B, C
  • Influenza A
  • Influenza B
  • Poliovirus
  • Pneumonia
  • RSV (Respiratory Syncytial Virus)
  • Rubella
  • Tuberculosis
  • SARS Coronavirus (SARS-COV2) COVID-19
  • Body Injury Requiring Surgery
     

3. Behavioral Expectations and Removal from Camp

At Holiday Camp KIS, the safety, well-being, and enjoyment of all children are our top priorities. We are committed to providing a secure and positive environment where every participant can thrive. To maintain this standard, all children are expected to follow the camp’s behavior guidelines (outlined below) and respect their peers, staff, and the camp facilities.

If a child’s behavior is found to be continuously disruptive, disrespectful, or poses a risk to the safety and well-being of others, Holiday Camp KIS reserves the right to take appropriate actions, including removing the child from the camp. In such cases, no refund for camp fees will be issued.

Creating a caring and inclusive community: Camp KIS has behavior expectations of its campers, staff and parents. All Camp KIS members are expected to demonstrate respect for self, others, and our environment, and to be responsible for our learning and behavior. At all times, we act as role models of the KIS values of taking action ethically and creating a caring and inclusive community.

Campers/students have a responsibility to:

  • Respect the rights and dignity of themselves and others 
  • Be actively and productively engaged in learning & fun
  • Be prepared for all of their activities
  • Collaborate effectively and inclusively with others
  • Demonstrate academic integrity and digital citizenship

Staff have a responsibility to: Establish a positive school climate, which encourages and supports students/campers self-management and in growing as caring global citizens. Model policy expectations and implement policies fairly and consistently

4. Refund Processing

Refunds will be processed within 30 business days from the date of the approved cancellation request. Refunds will be issued as a credit note for future use related to school activities and will not be provided in cash under any circumstances.

5. Transfer Policy

  • Participants may transfer their registration to another individual up to 30 days before the commencement of the camp, subject to an additional fee of 5,000 Thai Baht.
  • For camps that include ticket fees, transfer requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis, in accordance with the school’s policy and the timeframe for modifying ticket details. 
  • Please note that any additional fees associated with ticket modifications or other changes will be the responsibility of the participant.

  • To request a cancellation or transfer of registration, please contact us at camps@kis.ac.th as soon as possible.
  • Please be advised that leaving a message does not constitute confirmation of your cancellation request. A response from our office is required to complete the cancellation process.

Camp Cancellation Policy Due to Low Enrollment

Purpose
This policy outlines the conditions under which KIS Reignwood Park may cancel a camp session due to insufficient enrollment.

Policy Statement
KIS Reignwood Park is dedicated to offering a high-quality camp experience. To meet safety, staffing, and resource standards, we reserve the right to cancel a camp session if the number of participants falls below the required minimum.

Conditions for Cancellation

1. Minimum Enrollment Requirements: Each camp session has a predetermined minimum number of participants, based on:

  • Staffing ratios
  • Resource allocation
  • Activity planning

2. Right to Cancel: KIS Reignwood Park reserves the right to cancel any camp session if the enrollment does not meet the required minimum. This ensures the quality and safety of the camp experience.

3. Notification of Cancellation: If enrollment for a specific camp session falls below the established minimum:

  • Parents will be notified at least 14 days before the start of the camp session.
  • Notifications will be sent via email and/or phone.

4. Refund Policy: In the event of a cancellation due to low enrollment:

  • Parents will receive a full refund of the camp fees paid.
  • Refunds will be processed at least 14 working days, once the camp receives the bank account information for refund.
