Our KIS Primary and Secondary students took to the skies (and the science labs) for an exhilarating Rocket Day celebration! Focused on building key IB Learner Profile attributes like Inquirers, Thinkers, and Principled learners, students designed water rockets out of bottles and experimented with propulsion techniques, channeling their inner engineers and scientists. Some rockets used air pressure to soar, while others combined baking soda and vinegar for an added burst of lift-off power.
It was a day filled with cheers, countdowns, and awe as the rockets launched up, showcasing both the triumphs and the occasional fizzled-out attempts. No matter the result, the experience brought everyone together in a hands-on learning adventure—one that sparked curiosity, teamwork, and a lot of laughter!
