Celebrating the Festival of Lights: Diwali at KIS!

KIS Bangkok recently lit up with the vibrant colors and joyful spirit of Diwali, thanks to an incredible celebration organized by the Indian Community of KISPA with support from other community members!

The event was a beautiful showcase of Indian culture, with a spread of delicious traditional treats and snacks that brought the flavors of Diwali right to campus.

Students, teachers and staff enjoyed a variety of activities that made this festival extra special—from intricate henna painting to sand art shaped like lotuses, capturing the essence of Diwali’s symbols of prosperity and beauty.

Our little ones in EY Prep got hands-on with arts and crafts, creating colorful collages of flowers and fireworks, and even made lantern-like decorations using sustainable materials to light up their classrooms

A huge thank you to the Indian Community of KISPA for organizing this joyous occasion that allowed us to celebrate Diwali together as a community, truly creating a caring and inclusive community.

We’re incredibly grateful to our families who dedicate their time and energy, not just for this event but for every activity that brings our community together.

Happy Diwali to everyone celebrating!
